These terms govern your use of EchoWrite ("the service"), operated by [your legal entity]. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

EchoWrite rewrites text you provide so it reads in a voice you've trained or selected. It's a writing aid — you decide what to do with the output.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. You must give accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

Don't use EchoWrite to create unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content, to impersonate someone in a way that deceives, to spam, or to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans, billing & refunds

Your content & ownership

You keep ownership of the samples and drafts you submit and the rewrites you generate. You grant us the limited licence needed to process your content and deliver the service (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for having the rights to the content you submit.

AI output disclaimer

Rewrites are generated by an AI model and may contain errors or awkward phrasing. Review and fact-check anything before you publish or send it. You're responsible for the final content.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes rights you have under mandatory consumer law that can't be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoWrite and [your legal entity] aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the [3] months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or misuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Queensland, Australia], and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
